Chiang Mai is one of the top Thailand attractions. It located in Chang Moi, Mueang Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai 50300, Thailand.

The famous Night Bazaar sprawls along several city blocks along footpaths, inside buildings and temple grounds. It has handicrafts, arts, clothing and imported products of all descriptions, and a number of large, well-appointed modern shopping centres.

At first, the market was owned by Chinese merchants, but since it grew in size as more commercial buildings were built, it was no longer owned by a single group of people. Instead, there are many owners, and most of them are Thai.

Every evening, the centre of Chiang Mai come alive with the massive Night Market that stretches for several blocks and includes restaurants, bars and entertainment.

Few people visit Chiang Mai without picking up a few bargains here. There are two 'Walking Street' markets each week - the Sunday Market along Ratchadamonoen Road (through the old town), and the Saturday evening market along Wualai Street (through the traditional Silversmith quarter).

In fact, the stalls that are squeezed on to the pavement and in the purpose-built arcades of Chang Klan Road are one of Chiang Mai's biggest attractions.
